Bruce Hornsby and The Nightcrawlers

Bruce Hornsby wrapped-up a series of dates with a headlining appearance at New Orleans’ Tipitina’s Friday night. During his show, Hornsby also invited out members of the New Orleans Nightcrawlers for a few numbers. The group emerged a few songs into Hornsby’s set for a take on Robbie Robertson’s “Go Back To Your Woods” and returned a few songs later for “Funhouse.” The group also appeared on a version of “Rainbow’s Cadillac” near the end of the show. Trombonist Craig Klein in particular gelled with Hornsby during the performance.

Hornsby’s latest album Bride Of The Noisemakers is available for download on Amazon.com for $3.99 today as today’s daily deal. Hornsby will return to the stage for a performance at Summer Camp on May 29.
