Charlestown, RI’s Rhythm & Roots Festival will return to Ninigret Park from September 2-4. The festival’s lineup will feature a diverse mix of roots-oriented musicians, including Steve Earle & the Dukes & Duchesses, Delbert McClinton, Richard Thompson, Marcia Ball, Raul Malo Band, Steve Riley & the Mamou Playboys, 7 Walkers, Alison Moorer, Curley Taylor & Zydeco Trouble, Mitch Woods & the Rocket 88’s and Corey Ledet & His Zydeco Band. Other acts scheduled to appear include: Nation Beat, GreelySavoyDuo, Swamp Cabbage, Harper & the Midwest Kind, Jesse Lege, Joel Savoy & Bayou Brew, Sarah & the Tall Boys, Occidental Gypsy Jazz Band, Magnolia and River City Slim & the Zydeco Hogs. The 14th annual festival will also boast a Family Stage for kids, a Dance Pavilion with lessons and a variety of gourmet foods and beverages.
