My Morning Jacket’s first appearance in Relix was a Spotlight interview in June, 2003. Since that time the group has been profiled throughout the magazine in various features, reviews and essays (including a MyPage written by Jim James himself). In June, My Morning Jacket will make its first appearance on the magazine’s cover. The multi-part cover story includes both an essay written by noted critic William Bowers—whose early article on the band was published in Da Capo’s Best Music Writing 2004 —and a revealing interview with the group’s principal members.

The issue also features the annual Relix Festival Guide as well as profiles of Bonnaroo, The Low Anthem, Bela Fleck, Emmylou Harris and much more. Video highlights from My Morning Jacket’s cover shoot are now also available at Relix.com. Please click here to order the issue.
