Guests to Join Bob Weir at TRI Studios Friday

Bob Weir has confirmed some additional details about his performance and live broadcast from TRI Studios this Friday, May 13. In addition to a solo acoustic performance, Bob will be joined by former RatDog bassist Rob Wasserman, RatDog/Primus drummer Jay Lane, RatDog/Furthur keyboardist Jeff Chimenti, guitarist Steve Kimock, RatDog bassist Robin Sylvester and a four-piece Horn Section over the course of a two-set show. During his set break, Weir will also log onto both the TRI Studios Twitter and Facebook accounts and respond to viewers’ comments and questions about their first set viewing experience. The event goes live at www.tristudios.com this Friday 7pm PST.

Sounds great. I was hoping to see Mark Karan playing- I love his presence in Ratdog. Nothing against Kimock, of course, as he is great fun to listen to as well.

You’re entitled to ur opinion but I have heard Mark Karan with his new band, & I have heard Ratdog with Mark Karan &
Karan is a gifted musician, reallt the bashin’ is unnecessary. Keep on pickin’.

just saw Karan in Wilkes Barre Pa a couple of
weeks ago. i was standing a foot away from him watching him play. a gifted musician he is!

i was also at that wb show and hes deff awsome i seen him w/ratdog a few times and he can deff play…im pumped to see jay lane w/bob again by far one of the best drummers out there seen him w/ ratdof,furthur a few times and primus last sorry kid is on fire

i interviewed mark karan as well, really nice guy. awesome guitarist and it would be awesome to see him now as well regardless this show is awesome though
