Back in 2008 Widespread Panic donated $150,000 to the Make It Right Foundation to help build sustainable housing in areas of New Orleans still recovering from Hurricane Katrina. Many of the group’s fans then pledged to match that donation through Make It Right. At present, over $41,000 has been raised with more than $100,000 still to go. Last month The House that Widespread Panic Fans Built began a summer raffle offering two tickets and two VIP passes to the sold out Red Rocks shows on June 24, 25 and 26. Tickets cost $10 and can be purchased through this coming Friday May 20, with the full details at The House that Widespread Panic Fans Built’s Facebook page.
