Paul Simon closed out the second annual Hangout Music Festival with a 20-plus song show on the festival’s trademark beach Hangout stage. The veteran singer/songwriter opened his set with the Graceland nugget “Crazy Love, Vol. II” and referenced his entire career—from hits like “50 Ways to Leave Your Lover,” “Slip Slidin’ Away,” “Diamonds on the Soles of Her Shoes” and “You Can Call Me Al” to material from his studio album So Beautiful or So What. He also revisited material from his Simon & Garfunkel days like “The Only Living Boy in New York” and “The Sound of Silence.” His second encore brought the festival to a close with the anthems “Still Crazy After All These Years” and “The Boy in the Bubble.”

The Gulf Shoes, AL festival’s final day boasted a diverse lineup that included the lines of The Black Keys, Galactic, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Girl Talk, Ween, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Ave., Keller Williams, Matisyahu and Drive-By Truckers, among others. Franti and Williams also treated fans to a kids’ set on the festival’s family-friendly Shaka Island stage. Please click here for some video highlights from the second annual festival.
