Huey Lewis rehearses with Umphrey’s McGee before the Jammys in 2005 – photo by Michael Weintrob

While thunderstorms led to some rescheduling yesterday at the Summer Camp Music Festival, Umphrey’s McGee’s collaboration with Huey Lewis did indeed take place. After UM took the stage by itself foe “All In Time” and then the new original “A Room To Breathe, Lewis stepped out along with Mad Dog’s Filthy Little Secret on horns and two backing vocalists for a version of “Don’t Fight It,” which is covered on the new Huey Lewis and News album Soulsville. The remainder of the Huey Lewis and the rUMors set offered covers such as “The Weight,” “Respect Yourself” and “She Caught The Katy,” as well as Lewis originals like “Heart And Soul.” “Workin’ For A Livin’” and “I Want A New Drug” as well as UM compositions “Women Wine And Song” and “Partyin’ Peeps.”

Here is a look at the setlist, via our Box Scores section
