Public radio station KCRW will host a special My Morning Jacket performance at Los Angeles’ 200-person The Village on June 21. Originally built as a Masonic Temple, The Village has produced recordings by the likes of Lady Gaga, Foo Fighters, Neil Young, Pink Floyd and the Rolling Stones. “My Morning Jacket’s electrifying live shows are the stuff of legend. Both classic and eccentric, they continue to defy description and push musical boundaries,” KCRW Music Director and Host of Morning Becomes Eclectic Jason Bentley said in a statement. “We’ve hosted some magical sessions at The Village, but I have no doubt this up close and personal concert will be one to remember.” Tickets are $125 each and will go on sale Wednesday, June 1 at 10am to KCRW members only. The remaining tickets will go on sale to the public Tuesday, June 7 at 10am. It is general admission and standing room only show.
