One of Nugs.net’s many clients

In honor of their 15 year anniversary, live music website Nugs.net has released the “nugs.net appetizer,” allowing music fans to access recently uploaded shows directly on their Facebook news feed. Rather than having to visit a bands website or Facebook, a fan can simply “like” a band to have their music streamed instantly—just as one would see a status update on their own personal page. “We’re bringing the music to the fans instead of trying to get the fans to come to the music,” nugs.net CEO Brad Serling said in a statement. The “nugs.net appetizer” recently had its debut after the recent Metallica, Anthrax, Slayer, and Megadeth “Big 4” show in Indio, CA, and is currently being used on Phish’s summer tour. Nugs.net has completed over 115 million downloads to date and offers downloads for over 600 artists.
