Sonya Kitchell sat in with The Slip offshoot The Barr Brothers at Brooklyn, NY’s Littlefield on Wednesday night. Kitchell emerged partway through the group’s set for a new song and returned at the end of the night for a take on “Ooh Belle.” The members of The Slip toured as Kitchell’s backing band in 2008 and the Barrs appear on her album The Storm.
