The third album from the Wood Brothers is set for an August 2 release. Jim Scott (Johnny Cash, Tom Petty, Lucinda Williams) produced and engineered Smoke Ring Halo, which will come out on Zac Brown’s Southern Ground imprint. On this record Oliver and Chris Wood are joined by drummer Tyler Greenwell and a number of guest players, including Zac Brown Band’s Clay Cook, who appears in the first video from the new release, “Shoofly Pie.” That video can now be seen over on Relix.com.
