Widespread Panic Will Return To Theaters This Fall, Spend NYE in Charlotte

Widespread Panic has confirmed the dates on the group’s final tour before its 2012 hiatus. The band will be performing at a number of smaller venues (many of which are fan favorites) as the group brings its 25th Anniversary celebration to a close. The tour will open at Boston’s Orpheum Theater on September 15 for the first of two nights and then will see multiple shows runs at such venues as The National in Richmond, VA (September 19-21), The Tennessee Theater in Knoxville (September 26-28), The Johnny Mercer Theater in Savannah, GA (October 4 and 5) and The Riverside Theater in Milwaukee, WI (October 20-22). Panic will also celebrate Halloween at the Chicago Theater on October 28 and 29.

Looking ahead to New Year’s Eve, the group will appear in Charlotte at the Time Warner Cable Arena. This is the first time the band has played a New Year’s Eve show outside Georgia or Colorado. Ticket information for all these dates is now available at the Panic website with the exception of December 31, which is still TBA.
