Drive-By Truckers will release a greatest hits album, Ugly Buildings, Whores & Politicians, on New West Records August 2, 2011. Mixed and produced by David Barbe, the album will include DBT’s greatest hits from 1998-2009 and will be released on both CD and vinyl.
Currently the Truckers consist of Patterson Hood, Mike Cooley, Brad Morgan, Jay Gonzalez, John Neff, and Shonna Tucker. The band began with Cooley and Hood who grew up in Alabama together. The Truckers will be touring nationally through the summer and early fall and playing with Bob Dylan and Leon Russell at the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Maryland.
