Jimmy Page Joins The Black Crowes in London

In 1999, The Black Crowes recorded a series of shows with Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page for the live album Live at the Greek. Though the shows included several Black Crowes originals, due to contractual reasons the live set only included Zeppelin songs and blues covers. Page continued to tour with the Crowes in 2000, including some shows with The Who.

Last night, The Black Crowes performed at London’s Shepherds Bush Empire as part of the European leg of their 20th Anniversary tour. At the end of the show, Page joined the Crowes for their encore, “Shake Your Money Maker.” Though “Shake Your Money Maker” is the title of the Crowes studio album, the song does not appear on that disc. It does, however, appear on Live at the Greek. The Crowes will perform in Holland this Friday.
