Bay Area guitarist Sean Leahy will celebrate his birthday with a multi-band concert at San Francisco’s Great American Music Hall on Friday, August 5. Billed as “A Celebration of Life and Song,” the evening will feature performances by New Monsoon, Sean Leahy & Friends and Kiyoshi Foster. The celebration will also include a late-night set from New Monsoonageddon featuring special guests Dan Lebowitz (ALO) and Derren Ney (Nicki Bluhm & the Gramblers). New Monsoon will play a handful of shows over the course of the coming months, including an appearance at Floyd, VA’s FloydFest this weekend.
