Bob Weir joins the Levon Helm Band at Gathering of the Vibes

Although Bob Weir has announced the postponement of his solo acoustic dates in August, he will return to the Northeast in September. Weir has been confirmed as a special guest of the Levon Helm Band at moe.down on Sunday, September 4. Beyond that appearance, Weir also has announced a solo acoustic gig for September 3 at the Bearsville Theatre in Woodstock, NY. Now it turns out he will be in the area for an additional day as well, joining the Levon Helm Band for a Ramble on Friday, September 2. Helm also will perform his regular Saturday Ramble that weekend, with special guest Bobby Osborne.
