To mark the 16th anniversary of Jerry Garcia’s death this past Tuesday, the San Francisco Giants hosted Grateful Dead Night at AT&T Park in San Francisco. Bob Weir and Phil Lesh sang “The Star-Spangled Banner” with Giants third base coach Tim Flannery, while Mickey Hart and Bill Walton led the crowd in “Take Me Out To The Ball Game” during the seventh-inning stretch. ESPN is further marking the occasion by streaming five tracks from the forthcoming 72 CD Europe ’72” All-The-Music Edition. Versions of “Greatest Story Ever Told,” “One More Saturday Night,” “Sugar Magnolia,” “Playing In The Band” and “Truckin‘” all can be heard at the site.
