Warren Haynes and The Original Meters are in San Francisco this weekend to appear at Outside Lands. Last evening, The Meters played an area gig at The Independent (where the Warren Haynes Band will perform on Sunday). Haynes attended and made a guest appearance with the legendary New Orleans group, sitting in for “Just Kissed My Baby” which segued into “Funkify Your Life.” The Meters will step onto the main stage at Outside Lands 2011 a bit later today.
