George Porter Jr. will be making the rounds from his New Orleans home up to Colorado over the next two weekends. This evening he will appear at Cervantes’ Other Side in a band billed as Dirtytoxic. Here he will be joined by Efrem Towns, Kevin Harris and Jake Eckert of the Dirty Dozen Brass Band as well as Terrence Houston of The Runnin Pardners along with Polytoxic’s trio of CR Gruver, Tori Pater and Chadzilla. Then, next Friday the 26th Porter will appear at NedFest in Nederland, CO with Bill Kreutzmann, Steve Kimock and Kyle Hollingsworth.
