From September 5 until October 12, troubadour Nathan Moore will hit the road and deliver his next Hippy Fiasco web stream. Previous Hippy Fiascos have captured Moore’s travels through backyard performances while documenting the overall rigors a musician faces on the road. But this time, Moore has a larger goal in mind. On the upcoming Fiasco, Moore hopes to complete “The Record,” appealing to fans and friends to contribute through various digital mediums. “From remote locations all over the world, people will be downloading and uploading tracks, Skyping in parts or inviting us to their studios/ homes,” Moore explains. “On tour viewers got to see the excitement of ten hour drives and now they’ll get to watch hours of trying to find the right compression. They also help us decide whether to go left or right and now they will help decide what “The Record” will be.”

Next week, Moore will hopefully make a voyage to Canada with Marco Benvento and The Slip as Surprise Me Mr. Davis. The troubadour has previously experienced difficulty crossing border stemming from a run-in with the law at the 2005 High Sierra Music Festival, but has gone to lengths this time to ensure his passage into the Great North.
