Dr. John and The Lower 911, Dr. Lonnie Smith, Charlie Musselwhite, Charlie Hunter and Robert Walter Quartet are among the acts slated to appear at the Jazz88 Ocean Beach Music & Art Festival. The 6th annual jazz fest will take place on September 10 at stages and clubs along Ocean Beach’s main drag in San Diego, CA. The block party will also bring together Donald Harrison Quartet, Charlie Shoemake Quintet, Mundell Lowe, Wayne Wallace Latin Jazz Quintet, Hot Club of Cowtown, Mark McGrain & Plunge, Gene Perry’s Salsa Orchestra, The Styletones, Allison Adams Tucker w/ Josh Nelson and the Jazz 88 All Stars, among others. In total, the festival will boast eight stages of live music throughout the day.
