Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe will only play a limited number of headlining shows this fall while the band’s namesake performs with a variety of other bands. The group will headline New York’s Brooklyn Bowl on September 1 and 2 as well as appear at Bethlehem, PA’s SteelJam Festival on September 3. Kung Fu will support Denson at the Bowl on September 1 while Jaimoe’s Jasssz Band (featuring the Allman Brothers Band co-founder) will open on September 2.

Besides a few festival appearances this fall, Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe’s only other headlining shows will take place at San Francisco’s The Independent (10/21-22) and Boulder, CO’s Boulder Theater (10/28). KDTU and special guest Anders Osborne will perform the music of The Rolling Stones’ Sticky Fingers at all three shows.

Denson will also play a few dates with Slightly Stoopid, including a September 13 webcast from Bob Weir’s TRI Studios. Denson plans to release new albums with both Tiny Universe and Greyboy Allstars in the coming months.
