Crosstown Station, one of Kansas City, MO’s mid-sized venues, will close its doors at the end of September. On September 7 a number of local and national artists will come together to offer a “Grateful Goodbye” to the venue. This day will mark the debut of Workingman’s Beauty, which will interpret the music of the Grateful Dead. The band is headed by Particle’s Steve Molitz and Kansas City based multi-instrumentalist / vocalist Andy Manz along with all four members of Denver’s The Congress. Those who attend also will be able to receive discounted tickets to Keller Williams’ appearance at the venue two days later.
