On Wednesday night, the Warren Haynes Band began an East Coast run with a performance in Providence at Lupo’s. The evening ended in a fashion familiar to many longtime Haynes fans, as steady collaborator Hook Herrera emerged at the close of the night, adding harmonica to “32-20 Blues” and “Feel Like Breaking Up Somebody’s Home.” Speaking of guests with the WHB, we’d be remiss if we didn’t report on the group’s performance last week in Los Angeles at Guitar Center’s fifth-annual King of the Blues show. The show at the House of Blues saw Haynes joined by his Gov’t Mule bandmates Matt Abts and Jorgen Carlsson for the group’s signature tune, “Mule.” Haynes also welcomed Joe Bonamassa, Brad Whitford and Jimmy Vivino to the stage that evening.

Tonight the Warren Haynes Band makes it way to Lowell, MA for a performance part of the Lowell Music Series.
