Nashville, TN will host its own version of the music conference SXSW next week. SoundLand will feature four days of showcases, concerts, VIP Parties, music business workshops and interactive fun (like a giant inflatable Ninjasaur slide). The celebration is slated to take place at venues throughout Music City from September 21-25. SoundLand’s lineup is stylistically diverse but some highlights include: Foster the People, Ghostland Observatory, M. Ward, Dawes, Justin Townes Earle, Jeff the Brotherhood, Bonobo, Jason Isbell, My Morning Jacket’s Carl Broemel, Jonny Corndawg and the Low Anthem. In addition, Black Crowes guitarist Rich Robinson will preview songs from his forthcoming solo album backed by Crowes collaborator Joe Magistro. The event’s full schedule is now available online.
