On October 11, Old Crow Medicine Show’s Gill Landry
will release his second solo album titled Piety & Desire. The album sees Landry return to his New Orleans roots with the title nodding to two streets that run parallel through the city’s 9th ward—once home to the singer/songwriter’s days as a busker. The Felice Brothers take on co-production duties along with Landry and Jeremy “The Searcher” Backofen. The album also features guest appearances from Jolie Holland, Brandi Carlile, Ketch Secor, Sam Parton and others. Landry and The Felice Brothers hit the road next month for a string of dates that kick off October 11 at The Basement in Nashville, TN.
