On Saturday October 8, Michael Franti and Spearhead will appear at the Greek Theater in Berkeley, CA. The group is using the occasion to record a live DVD. To that end the group is soliciting the help of its supporters via Facebook. The band explains, “We want u to be part of it! We will film the day in the life of 5 different fans coming to the show. We are looking for people from diverse walks of life. Tell us what makes u unique. Are u flying or driving a long distance to the show? Are your children/grandparents coming? Is there some unique circumstance that make this show special for u? Do u have a ridiculous car or costume? Are u tailgating? etc…”

Tonight the group is in Reno, NV at the Reno Events Center with Santana.
