October 25 is the official U.S. release date of The Skinny. On this recording British vocalist and guitarist Ian Siegal is backed by four players, each of whom is the youngest son of a notable musician. Siegal’s group, dubbed the Youngest Sons, includes Garry Burnside (R L Burnside), Robert Kimbrough (Junior Kimbrough), Rodd Bland (Bobby Blue Bland) and Cody Dickinson (Jim Dickinson). Alvin Youngblood Hart, Duwayne Burnside and Andre Turner also appear on the album which was produced by Cody Dickinson at Zebra Ranch the Coldwater, Mississippi studio created by his late father.
