The Barr Brothers have confirmed an extensive fall tour in support of their self-titled Secret City records release. The group—led by The Slip’s Brad and Andrew Barr—will perform throughout the US and their current country of residence, Canada. Highlights include dates with Timber Timbre, Deer Tick, Low Anthem and Sean Hayes. The group will also play two CMJ showcases, including a gig at Arlene’s Grocery with Miracle Fortress. This evening The Barr Brothers will open for Ben Harper in Montreal.

The Barrs also continue to work on The Slip’s first album since 2006.Meanwhile, Slip bassist Marc Friedman is producing Big Light’s next release and is working with some noted comedians. For more on The Barr Brothers and The Slip, please order the most recent issue of Relix.
