Phish lyricist Tom Marshall activated his twitter handle over the weekend and is already offering a range of interesting content. With the help of YEMBlog, Marshall racked up almost 1,500 followers in only 26 tweets. He’s also directing his Twitter fans to a Soundcloud page featuring such gems as the Amfibian/Trey Anastasio number “Skip the Goodbyes” (which was originally released on Relix Records) as well as his early version of the Phish track “Nothing” featuring the Jersey girl group The Sarahs. Marshall also hints that he’s “ talking to Trey about releasing songs that have never seen the light of day…we have probably 100 of them.” Elsewhere, he discusses his daughter’s senior yearbook quote, his work with the McLovins and what the “111” in his handle really means.
