New Orleans’ Dumpstaphunk and LA’s Orgone will ring in 2012 together. The funk acts will co-headline shows at Denver’s Cervantes’ Masterpiece Ballroom on December 30 and 31. Orgone will close the night on December 30 while Dumpstaphunk will headline on December 31. Numerous collaborations are expected. The first 50 people to purchase Dumpstaphunk and Orgone New Year’s Eve tickets will receive free admission to their show on December 30. Orgone will perform at Aspen, CO’s Belly Up this Monday while Dumpstaphunk will kick off their Voodoo Weekend celebration at New Orleans’ Tipitina’s on October 28.
