New Orleans’ annual The Voodoo Experience will take place from October 29-31. The eclectic fest will feature a mix of acts including Soundgarden, Snoop Dogg, Girl Talk and The Original Meters. As in years past, Voodoo will also curate a number of unique artist pairings. This year’s mash-ups include Ani DiFranco with Ivan Neville & Herlin Riley, Ivan Neville’s Dumpstaphunk with special guests Walter “Wolfman” Washington & Angelo Moore, and Dr.John with special guests Irma Thomas, Cyril Neville and Walter “Wolfman” Washington. Other pairings include Ma Maison with the Trey McIntyre Project/Pres. Hall Jazz Band and Bonerama Featuring Dave Malone of The Radiators. As always, other collaborations are expected.
