The Grateful Dead Move From "Road Trips" to "Dave’s Picks"

Shortly after announcing the end of the “Road Trips” series, Dead.net has officially confirmed another Grateful Dead archival series. Named after current Dead archivist Dave Lemieux and a clear reference to the “Road Trips” predecessor “Dick’s Picks,” “Dave’s Picks” will include “some of the finest unreleased shows from the vaults, mastered to HDCD specs and packaged with rare photos and insightful liner notes.” Dead.net plans to release four “Dave’s Picks” CD releases in 2012, beginning with the Dead’s May 25, 1977 show at Richmond, VA’s The Mosque. All four 2012 “Dave’s Picks” releases will be limited to 12,000 individually numbered copies. A special subscription package for all four 2012 Dave’s Picks releases is now available online.

I was at that Mosque show, also at a JGB show there not long after. I have a boot of the half of the Mosque show, but to have the whole concert mastered right will be glorious! Thanks, Dave!

I SAY NO to so-called Smart Meters, they are bad for our health, they pose a fire and esipoxlon hazard, may increase our utility bills, will enable PGE to cut off power to our home, will enable PGE to deliver weaponized RF to our home, will invade our privacy as explained in this video, in fact NO ONE BENEFITS except PGE by eliminating USA meter reader jobs and the Made In China Smart Meter manufacturers Everyone please spread the word and take action today!!
