Warren Haynes Joins the Zac Brown Band

Zac Brown Band hosted their multi-band Southern Ground Music & Food Festival at Charleston, SC’s Blackbaud Stadium this past weekend. The festival presented a diverse mix of bands, including My Morning Jacket, Warren Haynes Band, Train, Blind Pilot, The Wood Brothers and Brett Dennen, among others.

Zac Brown Band headlined the festival on both Saturday and Sunday night but handed My Morning Jacket headlining duties on Friday. Instead, the members of Zac Brown Band played a special set of covers, which included Stephen Stills’ “Love the One You’re With,” Steve Miller’s “Swingtown,” Ray LaMontagne’s “Trouble,” Widespread Panic’s “Ain’t Life Grand” and Ryan Adams’ “Oh, My Sweet Carolina.” Warren Haynes also joined the group for takes on Pink Floyd’s “Comfortably Numb” and Johnny Cash’s “Folsom Prison Blues.”
