Disco Biscuits Confirm New Year’s Eve Opening Acts, Late Night Show and Post-Phish Plans

Old School Biscuits

Marc Brownstein has confirmed both the opening acts and official late night shows for the Disco Biscuits’ New Year’s run. As previously reported, the Disco Biscuits will close the year with shows at New York’s Best Buy Theater (December 26-28) and Chicago’s Auditorium Theatre (December 30-31). The group’s opening acts will include Mord Fustang (12/26), Tipper (12/27), Orchard Lounge and Brothers Past (12/28), EOTO and Abakus (12/30) as well as Future Rock (12/31).

Brownstein has also confirmed that the Biscuits’ December 28 appearance at the Best Buy will be a late night show, allowing fans to see Phish at the nearby Madison Square Garden earlier in the night (recalling the Biscuits’ fabled December 28, 1998 post-Phish show at Wetlands). In addition, Mord Fustang, Abakus and Manhattan Project will play an official late night show at New York’s BB King’s Blues Club on December 26 while Tipper, Orchard Lounge and Alpha Data will perform at the venue after the Biscuits on December 27.
