Steve Winwood Sings "Pretzel Logic" with Steely Dan
Steve Winwood is currently in the midst of a 10 date tour of Australian and New Zealand with Steely Dan (see commercial below). On Tuesday the two groups appeared at the Sydney Entertainment Centre. There Winwood emerged with Donald Fagen, Walter Becker and company during their encore for a version of Steely Dan’s “Pretzel Logic.” However rather than just adding organ to the tune, the title track from the group’s third studio album, Winwood also sang lead as well on this extended version of the song.
With any luck they will collaborate again as the tour continues on Saturday night in Victoria, Australia with A Day on the Green.
