Instead of anchoring an Oddity Faire tour this fall, Primus repurposed their traveling festival as a single-day Halloween event. The new Oddity Faire took place at Berkeley, CA’s Greek Theatre this past Saturday, boasting performances by Primus, Omar Rodriguez Lopez, Vau de Vire Society and the Extra Action Marching Band. The show started with the Extra Action Marching Band marching through the crowd before Omar Rodriguez Lopez and Vau de Vire Society took the stage. Instead of their standard two-set show, Primus played an extended single-set show.

The set opened with Primus catalog material “Those Damned Blue-Collar Tweekers,” “Duchess and the Proverbial Mind Spread,” “The Pressman,” “Jerry Was A Race Car Driver,” “My Name is Mud” and “Over the Electric Grapevine.” Like the other shows on their tour, Primus then performed their new album Green Naugahyde in its entirety. The band later returned for an encore consisting of “Tommy the Cat” and “Wynona’s Big Brown Beaver.”
