As is tradition, Galactic will close the year at New Orleans’ Tipitina’s with a handful of friends. Last year’s event featured a special collaborative performance with Tea Leaf Green. This year’s show will feature guests such as guitarist Anders Osborne, Living Colour’s Corey Glover and Rebirth Brass Band’s Corey Henry. The Eric Lindell Trio will also open the night.

A limited number of special VIP packages are available for the show, which includes a full dinner catered by Jaques-imos Cafe, an open bar, a champagne toast, a meet and greet and more. As of press time, Galactic’s only other 2011 date is an appearance at Live Oak, FL’s Bear Creek Music & Art Festival on November 11.
