Cold Turkey Classics : The Barr Brothers, Chris Thile, Deer Tick and More

As we mentioned last week, we are counting down to Thanksgiving by digging through the archives for some overlooked, exclusive performances recorded right here at Relix. Last week we looked back at some performances recorded during Cold Turkey’s festival heyday from 2005-2009. This week we are proud to present some rare audio tracks the Cold Turkey team recorded right in the Relix office during the past 12 months. Beginning where we left off last week, we have another song by Spin Doctors (“Two Princes”) as well as a classic cover performed by Chris Thile and Michael Daves (“Roll in My Sweet Baby’s Arms”). After that, we move from our publisher’s office to the Relix boiler room for performances by improv-inspired roots-rockers Deer Tick (Warren Zevon’s “All Night Long”), The Barr Brothers (“Beggar in the Morning”) and James Justin & Co (“Dark Country”). Please visit our sister site Relix.com to here these exclusive tracks.
