Gent Treadly Recreates the Grateful Dead’s Colgate ’77

Gent Treadly with the Grateful Dead’s Vince Welnick

Gent Treadly will return to Hamilton, NY’s Palace Theater at Colgate University for a special show tonight with Borahm Lee, one half of the acclaimed Break Science duo. This show marks the first collaboration between Lee and Gent Treadly and also falls on the 34th anniversary of the Grateful Dead’s legendary 1977 performance at Colgate University. As a tribute, Gent Treadly will recreate segments of the Dead’s 1977 show with a modern twist utilizing Lee’s DJ and keyboard stills. Gent Treadly will also collaborate with The Band’s Garth Hudson tomorrow night, November 5, at The Emelin Theater in Mamaroneck, NY. The group will then embark on a Southwest tour with Charles Neville this Thursday.
