Trey Anastasio Band trombonist Natalie Cressman is currently in the studio working with Trey Anastasio. Cressman spread the news via a Twitter message that read, “In the studio with trey anastasio today :).” The tweet quickly spread through the fan community thanks in part to a retweet by @ohkeepahblog and has since been replaced by the more vague statement, “On the metro north train bright and early: looking forward to a few days of recording!” Anastasio has a huge backlog of recorded material so it is uncertain if this session is part of a scheduled 2012 Anastasio solo album produced by Peter Katis or another project. Trey Anastasio Band will return to Atlanta, GA’s The Tabernacle this Friday.
