Hot Buttered Rum and Greensky Bluegrass kicked off a co-headlining tour on Tuesday night at San Diego, CA’s Porter’s Pub at the University of California. Both bands offered extended sets and, at the end of the night, the members of Greensky Bluegrass joined Hot Buttered Rum onstage for a collaborative encore. The segment came to a close with a bluegrass take on Bruce Springsteen’s “Dancing in the Dark.” In addition, the night included a new Hot Buttered Rum song called “Sweetest Thing.” The two bands will perform together this evening at Petaluma, CA’s Mystic Theatre.
