Classic Sabbath from 1970

Black Sabbath has confirmed that it is recording its first studio album in 33 year. Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward are working with producer Rick Rubin on this new disc. The group will then appear at the U.K.‘s Download Festival on June 10 before embarking on a global tour. The band made this announcement earlier today at Los Angeles’ Whisky A Go-Go, the club where the group performed its first LA concert 41 years earlier. The forthcoming record is now tentatively slated for a fall 2012 release.
