On March 27, when Furthur appeared at New York’s Radio City Music Hall, Phil Lesh & Friends alums Larry Campbell and his wife Teresa Williams sat in with the group (on a night when another couple, Elvis Costello and Diana Krall, also played in the band). Last night, as Furthur made its way to back to New York City for a show at Madison Square Garden, Campbell and Williams once again joined the Grateful Dead offshoot for much of the night.

The two emerged midway through the first set for “Tennessee Jed,” and Campbell remained for “Uncle John’s Band,” “So Many Roads” and “Box of Rain.” Set two saw Campbell take the stage once again for “The Other One,” “St. Stephen,” “Fire on the Mountain” and “Sunshine Daydream.” Meanwhile, Williams came back out, lending vocals on Furthur’s first-ever take on “Keep Your Lamps Trimmed and Burning” and then for the “Attics of My Life” encore. The complete setlist appears below, drawn from our Box Scores section.

Tonight Furthur moves on to the Oncenter in Syracuse, NY.
