Umphrey’s McGee has embraced the ‘pay what you want’ model popularized by Radiohead for a new charity campaign. Fans can choose how much they want to donate for the Red Rocks & Blue Bundle, a charity campaign featuring their new two-part documentary Red Rocks and Blue. A note from the band explains, “Every dollar donated to the campaign feeds one meal to the hungry in association with the Feed Them With Music charity, and if our goals of 2,500 and 5,000 meals delivered are reached, all participants will receive unreleased rare tracks from UM. The highest donors will be rewarded with exciting prizes, like the chance to name a UM song and a rare autographed copy of the band’s long out of print debut. This one-week only event is happening at Groupees, a new platform designed to transform the digital media download into a social event by way of unique exclusive deals on music, games, and video.”

The 25-minute Red Rocks and Blue documentary mixes live performances, backstage antics, insightful interviews and gorgeous cinematography shot during the group’s recent shows at Morrison, CO’s Red Rocks.
