Preservation Hall Jazz Band first came together in the early 1960s as the house band for New Orleans’ Preservation Hall. Though the ensemble’s lineup has changed countless times over the years, the group remains a force both onstage and in the studio. Recent collaborations and tours with both My Morning Jacket and Del McCoury Band have also introduced the band to a new audience. On January 7, Preservation Hall Jazz Band will celebrate their 50th anniversary with a performance at New York’s Carnegie Hall. Though no names have been announced, the band may bring some special guests to the stage during the night.

Preservation Hall Jazz Band will perform at Clarksville, AR’s Univeristy of the Ozarks at Seay Theatre tomorrow. The group will also embark on its Creole Christmas tour in December. Those dates can be found below:
