“Pearly Queen” from a previous tour

Eric Clapton and Steve Winwood kicked off the Japanese leg of their joint tour at Sapporo’s Hokkaido Prefectural Sports Center on November 17. The former Blind Faith partners’ setlist has changed a bit since their reunion kicked off in 2008, and the musicians added two songs to their show on night two of their Japanese tour.

While performing at Yokahama’s Yokahama Arena, Clapton introduced a new, acoustic arrangement of his Slowhand ballad “Wonderful Tonight.” Winwood also brought back his Traffic classic “Pearly Queen,” which was an original part of the Clapton/Winwood setlist before slipping out of rotation. The tour continues at Osaka, Japan’s Osaka-Jo Hall today.
