Patterson Hood often overshadows Mike Cooley in Drive-By Truckers, but the singer/guitarist wrote some of the Truckers most memorable songs. On December 20 and 21, Cooley will take the spotlight for some shows at Birmingham, AL’s WorkPlay Theatre.A portion of sales from the shows will go to Laura Crandall Brown Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation.
