The North African blues group Tinariwen will perform on The Colbert Report on November 29. One of the few musical acts to play the show over the years, Tinariwen will perform “Tenere Taqqim Tossam” off their new release Tassili with the help of TV on the Radio principals Tunde Adebimpe and Kyp Malone. The TV on the Radio members appear on the new album, along with Wilco’s Nels Cline and The Dirty Dozen Brass Band horns. Members of Tinariwen will also sit for an interview with Stephen Colbert.
