Former Phish manager John Paluska is making the transition into another form of entertainment. A story in a Bay Area food blog reports that he is the owner of a 140-seat Mexican restaurant in Berkeley, CA. The restaurant is named Comal after the griddle that is often used to cook tortillas and other Mexican food. Paluska tells Inside Scoop SF, “A lot of what I loved in the music business was creating community. I like setting the stage. I like creating a fertile environment for ideas.”
